MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Happy 69th!!

Thank you for making this a GREAT birthday!!! All your cards, calls, emails, visits, etc have made my day. Norma made me a cake and only put 21 candles on it which is OK with me, too! Tammy took me to Costco with her and just to be able to spend time and visit with her, Jet and Brig was fun. Then we went to a tile store where we saw the most beautiful slate to put under my wood stove, and rock for the walls around it! It is so pretty--I'm anxious to get started on getting this little stove in! It's just been a great day--have visited all day with people on the phone and otherwise and have just really felt special. Autumn is here in full force

I love Autumn. We had a cold front come in today, however, and these lovely colors have probably blown away. Don't know if the Halloween things are even still there..... it was 60° today and supposed to maybe snow tomorrow--so goodbye autumn, hello winter!! I got 40 raspberry plants dug (from Amy Rupp) and planted today before everything blew away at least! Hope they grow. So I got to go outside one more time and work in the yard! :)

I got "fired"

Guess who went to Chuck E Cheese for Charlotte and Logan's birthday tonight! Yeah! Charlotte is 10 and Logan is 6.

And Tuesday when I went in to the clinic for my blood pressure study, they "fired" me. My blood pressure was too high :( . It has been running around 145/75 basically for 3 weeks (on medicine) and this last time it was 160/85 which is not a good number.... The only thing different between those weeks was Dennis was home..... Anyway, I'm disappointed as i was looking forward to that $600. But it's probably good that I'm back on my old medicine again.

I think it's a great idea!! Cute start!

Badger, Coyotes, now Guinie Pig

I don't know how to spell Guinie Pig--but I am one. I'm involved in a marketing research about Blood Pressure medicine--They give me a pill to take instead of my normal ones and check me each week to see what it is doing to me. If you've ever listened to all the "side affects" they advertise about medication, I might get any of them--headaches, nausea, etc etc etc, but so far Day 1 has been great!! And if I make it though, it is $600! Good luck!

BTW, we have not seen "Angel" since the day before the girls came home--she has discovered she is a bird and hangs out with them now, we hope. And incidently, "she" is a "he" and they now call him "Trouble"!

HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW?

We live in the Wild West--first we had gophers then a badger in the garden, yesterday I went out and found a coyote eating the something in the compost pile!! What next??

Guess who's 70th birthday is coming up in September and guess who has very few pictures to scrapbook?? I have basically the same pictures that I put in Dad's life story--but I am going to use those and scrapbook them anyway. And I'll add pictures from throughout his life as well.
Do you have a picture/s and a story you would like to send for me to put in???? I'd like any and all you can send. Thanks!
